a couple of days ago on a really beautiful sunny afternoon I took my 10 year old out to the local park with his Christmas present in the boot – a new bike. The local park has a central road which is pedestrian with a bike lane with lots of other paths for him to choose from.

It’s a really popular place – it was packed with families enjoying the end of the daylight on one of the shortest days of the year. It was cold especially as twilight developed but the glow in the sky was really beautiful.
