Last night my brother hosted a family BBQ for my dad’s 77th birthday! The house is an extended cottage with probably an acre of gardens – these extend above the house with a vegetable patch and a large area allowed to grow wild (with some planting of specific flowers). The result is a beautiful meadow in the early summer sunshine.
I have uploaded lots of photographs of this church but here is another. Taken in the evening this time last week I was driving west into the village of Ballintoy. The approach is a long winding road down a steep hill and half way down you can pull in to admire the view – in this case the church is silhouetted against the glare of the evening sun’s reflection on the Atlantic Ocean.
